He may be in some deep trouble, but this is one of the best mugshots I've ever seen.
After Meeks was booked, his mugshot was posted on the Stockton Police Department's Facebook page, one they use to raise awareness of crimes and arrest in the area.
In a matter of no time, Meeks' mugshot had gone viral with over 30,000 likes, 2,900 shares, with 9,400 comments praising him for his bone structure and piercing blue eyes.
One woman posted, "If this guy broke into my house, I'd make him forget why he broke in within 30 seconds...."
Another wrote, "I'd go 50 Shades on that man!!!!Oh God YES!" And a third cosigned, "He needs to join a modeling agency when he gets out lol."
Someone even set up a Facebook page to raise money for Meek's $900,000 bail, as he currently sits in San Jaoquin County Jail.
Officer Joseph Silva stated that since the page began back in 2012 he had, "...not seen that many likes for a photo before."
Silva called Meeks "one of the most violent criminals in the Stockton area," though he declined to provide any details on the crimes that Meeks is believed to have been involved in, while Meeks proclaimed his innocence in a filmed interview with News-Press.
When alerted of his new found fame, Meeks stated, "Well I appreciate that, but I just want them to know that this is really not me. I'm not some king pin."
Meeks is scheduled to be arraigned later today.
