It's been a long two years since her last album, but today Rihanna returns with the video for “FourFiveSeconds,” a collaborative effort featuring Kanye West and Paul McCartney.
The Barbadian vixen strips things down in the black-and-white Inez and Vinoodh directed clip, dressed in a Sean John denim jacket (didn't know people still wore Sean John), she trades vocals with West while the iconic Beatle plays it cool on the guitar.
“Kanye came up with the idea of doing just some real street, denim, all-American-type look,” said Rihanna. “Denim never goes out of style; it’s classic, it’s iconic, just like the fucking Beatles.”
The acoustic song marks the first single from her upcoming eighth studio album, which may feature contributions from Mike WiLL Made-It, Ne-Yo, DJ Mustard, and Rae Sremmurd. Rihanna will perform “FourFiveSeconds” live for the first time alongside Kanye and Paul at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday.
There are also rumors that she and ‘Ye will launch a joint tour later this year. Can't say I'm a fan of this song as Kayne and Rihanna's vocals just don't seem to mesh well with the production, however it does make me anticipate what her new album will sound like.
