Cali native Molia has been making ripples for some time now, but it wasn't until her buzz single "Does It Matter" was released, that those ripples turned into waves.
The singer-songwriter makes her official debut with her self-titled EP. The projects includes 7 original tracks, including the infectious "Too Late," all showcasing a little bit of R&B reminiscent of the ’90s.
When speaking on the project, Molia divulged that she wasn't expecting the production of the EP to take the route that it did
“I wasn’t expecting the whole project to be just Cisco, but I’m really glad,” Molia told MetroActive, explaining that everything turned out fine with just a single producer. “There’s something different about [every beat]. That’s what I’ve always wanted.”
“She makes it look so easy,” adds Cortez. “I’d never heard someone sing like that from my area. That made me want to push that much harder to break her out of here. I just want to see somebody from my city win.”
